DESCRIPTION:This summer course is organized by:\nFaculty of Social Science\, Universitas Negeri Malang – Indonesia \nIn Collaboration with:\n– Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) – Malaysia\n– Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) – Malaysia\n– University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC) – Philippines\n– University of Oradea – Romania \nThe 6th summer course bring WiSE (Wonderful Tourism Sustainable Experience) as a topic Students will learn about wonderful tourism\, tourism social-economic & local community\, panoramic tourism\, sustainable tourism\, carbon balancing waste treatment & environment\, tourism conservation\, gastronomy\, and experience tourism. The participants had the opportunity to make direct observations and interview tourism managers in Malang area. The Speakers in this program are tourism expert from various university and tourism practitioners. The 6th summer course will be a forum for collaborative and constructive scientific discussion to discuss wonderful tourism sustain able experience. \nThis course is offered for under-graduate\, postgraduate\, or doctoral students from all countries who are interested in tourism and sustainability. Participants who take this course will receive a certificate equivalent to 2 credits. \nThe 6th International Summer Course Program 2025 will be held on October 20-31\, 2025 in a blended model (online & offline). Registration fees for online courses are free\, and in face-to-face courses you will be charged for meals\, accommodation\, transportation during the program\, and a printed certificate. SUMMARY:5th ICGE 2026  “International Conference on Geography and Education”
DESCRIPTION:The 5th International Conference on Geography and Education (5th ICGE) will be hosted by the Department of Geography\, Faculty of Social Sciences\, Universitas Negeri Malang\, Indonesia. ICGE is recognised as a reputable academic forum in Indonesia that brings together scholars\, researchers\, and educators to advance knowledge and practice in geography and geography education. \nIn recent years\, climate change has become an increasingly urgent global issue. Rising temperatures and sea levels have intensified the frequency and severity of hydrometeorological hazards such as floods\, landslides\, and droughts. These challenges highlight the need to strengthen collective responsibility and evidence-based action to safeguard environmental sustainability and community resilience. \nIn response\, the Department of Geography\, Universitas Negeri Malang\, is committed to contributing to meaningful solutions through research\, education\, and policy-relevantai 9ant engagement. One strategic effort is to convene an international scientific forum ICGE to facilitate scholarly exchange and collaboration\, particularly in developing alternative strategies and innovative approaches to reduce climate change impacts. \nBuilding on the momentum of the previous conference theme\, “Climate Changes and the Future of Our Planet: Challenges and Opportunities of Geography and Education\,” the 5th ICGE continues to emphasise the importance of strengthening the relationship between humans and the environment. Through this conference\, the organising committee expects to encourage rigorous discussion\, promote actionable insights\, and foster cross-sector collaboration to support transformative climate action and a more sustainable future.
