SUMMARY:4th International Conference on Geography and Education (ICGE) 2024
DESCRIPTION:The fourth ICGE will be held by the Department of Geography Universitas Negeri Malang. This conference will be held hybrid (offline and online) on 24th July 2024. In this conference\, experts\, researchers\, educators in geography and related fields from various countries will meet to share insights\, innovations\, and strategies to discuss future challenges and opportunities in facing climate change. It is a reputable conference on Geography and Education Geography in Indonesia. \nNowadays\, climate change issues are becoming crucial around the globe. With the rising temperature and rising sea levels\, floods\, landslides\, droughts\, and other Hydrometeorological hazards have become more severe this decade. Regarding this issue\, human responsibility must be improved to maintain Environmental sustainability. In response to these global challenges\, the Department of Geography\, Universitas Negeri Malang\, is responsible for coping with the problems. One of the ways is to develop alternative choices to reduce the impact of climate change. \nBy creating a scientific forum called the International Conference on Geography and Education (ICGE)\, the department tries to make a positive scientific contribution. Focusing on climate change\, the fourth ICGE stands out as the theme of the conference “Climate changes and the future of our planet: challenges and opportunities of geography and education”. This theme appoints the message to the people to maintain the human and environmental relations. By providing this conference\, the committee hopes for the best solution in reducing climate change impact and preparing for a better future
