PENGEMBANGAN BUKU AJAR PENDIDIKAN HUKUM

Abstract: In accordance with the results of the preliminary study, there is a need to compose an instructional book on law education for high school students. It needs to be done in order to widen the students’ knowledge. The advanced study aims at developing the instructional book, and testing the levels of attractiveness, and efficiency of the book. Methods being used in this developmental study are expert evaluation trial, small group trial, and big group trial. The product is evaluated by experts in law, instructional media, and teaching and learning. Based on the recommendation of the experts, the researcher makes some improvements on the product. Afterwards, the small group trial is conducted. The results show that the attractiveness level is 79%; mean of the formative test scores is 76,6; and the subjects need 18 minutes in average to accomplish everything per chapter. Further, the researcher conducts the big group trial. There is a betterment in the results; the attractiveness level is 79,2%; mean of the formative tests scores is 83; and the subjects need 20 minutes in average to accomplish everything per chapter.
Abstrak: Berdasarkan penelitian tahun pertama, guru dan siswa menyatakan perlu untuk disusun buku ajar pendidikan hukum bagi siswa SMA dengan tujuan untuk menambah wawsan siswa. Pada tahun kedua bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk buku ajar, menguji kemenarikan, keefisienan, dan kemenarikan buku ajar. Metode yang digunakan penelitian pengembangan, yang terdiri dari uji evaluasi ahli, uji coba kelompok kecil, dan uji lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar layak untuk digunakan. Produk yang dibuat dievaluasi ahli hukum, ahli media, dan ahli pembelajaran. Berdasarkan rekomendasi dari ahli dilakukan perbaikan produk, setelah itu dilakukan uji coba kelompok kecil. Tingkat kemenarikan 79%, keefektivan nilai tes formatif rata-rata 76,6 dan keefisienan rata-rata membutuhkan waktu 18 menit per bab. Setelah itu dilakukan perbaikan produk dan dilanjutkan uji coba kelompok besar. Tingkat kemenarikan 79,2%, keefektivan nilai tes formatif rata-rata 83 dan keefisienan rata-rata per bab membutuhkan waktu 20 menit.
