STRATEGI PENGENTASAN KEMISKINAN: Upaya Pencapaian Millennium Development Goals

Abstract: The strife of Indonesia nation in overcoming poverty matter has yet never completed since the forming of country. Power, Poverty and the Global Water Crisis, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) indicate the Indonesia red mark. The annual report has always become the reference of development planning program and one indicator to decide whether the government has failed or success in making prosperous of its people. For a decade, Indonesia was placed at “medium tier” which ranged 110 of the human development and become the worst in Southeast Asia after Cambodia. The decreasing of Indonesian quality life was also shown in the report of the regional achievement of the Asia Pacific Millennium Development Goal where Indonesia was placed at the worst ranking of the countries that were threatened to fail in reaching the MDGs target in year 2015 along with Bangladesh, Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, and the Philippines.
